🌟 Queen Mary of Denmark
Queen Mary of Denmark was born Mary Elizabeth Donaldson in Hobart in 1972. Her schooling included Sandy Bay, Waimea Heights and Taroona, followed by study at Hobart Matriculation College and the University of Tasmania. She graduated in commerce and law before working in advertising and business. Her marriage to Crown Prince Frederik in 2004 began her Danish royal life. The official royal biography documents an extensive greater Hobart upbringing, well before international attention made her one of Tasmania’s most recognisable former residents.
